भाजपा की महिला सांसदों ने द्रौपदी मुर्मू से मुलाकात की, यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोपी कांग्रेस सांसद पर कार्रवाई की मांग की

National News : जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय (JNU) से जुड़े कथित यौन उत्पीड़न को लेकर राजधानी का तापमान चरम पर है. भारतीय जनता पार्टी (की महिला सांसदों और महिला मोर्चा के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने आज राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु से मुलाकात की और उन्हें ज्ञापन सौंपा.  ज्ञापन में यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोपी कांग्रेस सांसद और जेएनयू के पूर्व प्रोफेसर अंगोमचा बिमोल अकोइजम के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग की गयी है.

BJP Mahila Morcha chief Roop Kumari Choudhary, says, " The incident at JNU, Professor Bimol Akoijam, who is also a Congress MP from Manipur, allegedly misbehaved with 11 young women at the university. The women had submitted a written complaint, following which an internal committee was constituted to investigate the matter. The committee reportedly found him guilty, and he was dismissed from his position at the university. However, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi have not uttered a word on the issue, despite claiming to stand for women's rights. They have remained silent. Priyanka Gandhi's slogan, 'Ladki Hoon, Lad Sakti Hoon' appears to be limited to just a slogan. Today, those young women are frightened and apprehensive because Dr Bimol is an influential Congress leader and enjoys the party's full support. The complainants are also afraid. We therefore approached the President of India to request that, since he continues to be a Lok Sabha MP, he should also be removed from Parliament. We also sought full protection for the young women who showed great courage in coming forward and filing the complaint, ensuring that they do not face any harm or intimidation in the future.  कांग्रेस सांसद स्कूल ऑफ सोशल साइंसेज के अंतर्गत सेंटर फॉर द स्टडी ऑफ सोशल सिस्टम में प्रोफेसर थे. जिन्हें बर्खास्त कर दिया गया है. इससे पहले कल सोमवार को भाजपा महिला मोर्चा ने  दिल्ली स्थित कांग्रेस मुख्यालय सहित अन्य प्रदेशों में प्रदर्शन किया था. कांग्रेस इनर मणिपुर से सांसद अकोइजम को पार्टी से निष्कासित करने की मांग की थी. दिल्ली में हुए प्रदर्शन में केंद्रीय महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्री अन्नपूर्णा देवी भी शामिल हुई थी.

बता दें कि मणिपुर से कांग्रेस सांसद और पूर्व जेएनयू प्रोफेसर अंगोमचा बिमोल अकोइजम यौन उत्पीड़न के आरोपी हैं. दिल्ली पुलिस संबंधित धाराओं में प्राथमिकी (FIR) दर्ज कर जांच  कर चुकी है.  प्रोफेसर और इनर मणिपुर से कांग्रेस लोकसभा सांसद डॉ. अंगोमचा बिमोल अकोइजाम को JNU ने बर्खास्त कर दिया है.

मामला यह है कि यूनिवर्सिटी ने  प्रोफेसर को 11 छात्राओं के यौन उत्पीड़न का दोषी पाया था. उन्हें तत्काल प्रभाव से बर्खास्त कर दिया था. यूनिवर्सिटी की इंटरनल कमेटी (IC) ने जांच के बाद बिमोल अकोइजाम के खिलाफ सजा की सिफारिश की थी.
